Hey, it’s Dustin with the Davidson Group at Keller Williams with episode 20 of Real Talk. Yeah, we’re getting there. We’re enjoying these episodes week over week. But this week we wanted to sit back. We wanted to relax.
And really, I just wanted to say, if you’re watching this and you are in the real estate industry in any form or fashion, thank you. Thank you for the time. Thank you for the energy. Thank you for putting up with and going through what has been crazy for at least 18 months.
If you know someone, if you have a conversation with anyone who’s related to the industry, just say, hey, thank you. You know, it’s a demanding industry. There’s a lot that rides on the line. And people are really sacrificing a lot of time and energy to ensure that we’re able to move forward, that we’re able to sell homes, we’re able to purchase homes. You know, this past week I’ve had conversations: 10 o’clock on a Saturday night, I was emailing back and forth with the title rep. You know, someone who’s supposed to work Monday through Friday and have a very consistent eight to five, 9:00 to 5:00 schedule.
They weren’t. Talking with Anthony and he’s been going so crazy from sunup to sundown, then editing and making sure that content’s out and available for us agents, that he ran himself sick. He literally had to stop. He had to take a rest and a break because he’s been going so heavily. Most agents I talked to are working six and a half, seven, eight days a week, if that’s possible. You know, we have to schedule a time to be away or to be away from the industry. It is very demanding. There’s a lot of opportunities out there, and so I’m so very blessed and thankful for the opportunities that you all have given. And I get to take time, and I’m thankful for that time that’s there. I thoroughly enjoy what I do, but I know a lot of people are struggling right now because they’re running ragged.
They just go every single day. They wake up and go until they can’t go anymore. They fall asleep and they wake up and they go again. And so if you know someone in the industry, if if you thought about reaching out to them, but haven’t, do so. If you’re watching this again in the industry. Thank you for what you do. Thank you for pushing. Thank you for continuing on. You know, my parents, they do appraisals are scheduled in two or three weeks out. Lender partners, they’re working the same hours. I am so reaching out and having a conversation with them. And it’s just it’s something that you don’t think about on the backside whenever you’re ready to make a decision. You’ve got a team of people who are there at the ready and are working very hard to ensure that the process goes smoothly, that nothing’s dropped, and that you have the best experience possible. So thank you to those in the industry. If you know someone, thank them as well. Thank you for supporting me, for supporting this show and the content that we’re putting out.
